REMOTE NOTARY
A Remote Notarial Act (RNA) may be completed via an audio-visual link (AVL) where it is impractical for the applicant to attend an in-person appointment with a Notary Public. Please note that RNA may not be undertaken solely as a matter of convenience.
Before arranging a Remote Notarial Act, the applicant must confirm with the receiving overseas authority or jurisdiction that a remotely notarised document will be accepted.
The applicant will normally sign the physical document in person during the audio-visual meeting. Electronic signing may also be acceptable if pre-approved by the recipient.
